House guide

Arrival & access

  1. Wi-Fi. Network : Masmousquety · Password : mousquety
  2. Main gate. Operate the gate with the digicode or the remote (left button), and with the visiophone in the kitchen entrance (right button, gate symbol).
  3. River path. The padlock code for the gate giving access to the path along the banks of the Sorgue is in the welcome file on the buffet in the kitchen entrance.
  4. Alarm. To engage the alarm, close all doors and windows of the main house, cottage and pool house, then press the top-left button of the alarm control system (next to the visiophone in the kitchen entrance) for a few seconds. You then have a few seconds to leave the house.
    • Turn the alarm off with the red transmitters on the key set.
    • If the alarm goes off, an operator will speak to you through the interphone on the kitchen buffet: give the password Cesar to cancel the alarm, or Baya to signal a danger (emergency services will be on their way).
    • The SOS button on the interphone calls a security operator directly.

Around the house

  1. Cinema projector. Lower the screen with the black three-button remote. With the small grey remote, navigate to the 'source' symbol (top right) and select HDMI1. Then turn on the TV box with the larger black remote.
  2. Ovens. On the stove, the right-hand side is a gas oven, the left an electric oven. On the gas oven's control panel, if the red diode is ON, press the button above it.
  3. Sauna. Turn it on with the switch on the left side of the heater, from 1 to 4 (= 1 to 4 hours of heat). It needs about 30 minutes to warm up. This is a dry sauna: never pour water on the heater.
  4. Pool cover. The rolling shutter opens and closes with the key on the right side of the pool technical room. Make sure nobody is in the pool when operating it, and do not change any settings in the technical room.
  5. Air conditioning. The two master A/C switches are in the bedroom with the bath on the 1st floor: both must be ON for the A/C to work throughout the house.
  6. Bins. Household waste goes in the containers at the end of Chemin de Mousquety. Plastic and paper go in the yellow bins, and glass in the green bin, in the containers opposite the 'Clinique Vétérinaire' on the way to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

House rules

  1. Please do not leave the canoe unattended by the river banks, to avoid theft.
  2. Please do not sit on the sofas or fabric chairs in a wet swimsuit.
  3. Do not use the fireplace or the wood stove in the kitchen during summer: this can start a fire or damage the A/C system.
  4. It is strictly forbidden to light an open fire or use a charcoal/wood barbecue anywhere in the area in summer. Ignoring this rule can lead to a fire-brigade call-out and a significant fine.
  5. Smoking inside the house is prohibited.
  6. Out of respect for the neighbourhood, please avoid excessive noise after 10:30 pm.
  7. In case of breakage, please let us know so we can plan a replacement.

Safety

  1. Fire extinguishers are located opposite the lift on the ground floor and on the 1st floor, and in the room behind the laundry room.
  2. In an emergency, the SOS button on the kitchen interphone calls a security operator (see the alarm section above).
